LSU north gates all around chimes, raising canes, the gas station across from canes (on the side road), that little area has their fair share, but I think the worst areas is from the I10E college drive exit (it seems like there is always someone hitting up people at the traffic light)to Perkins, that whole area, including the gas station, is shite.
I haven't been in that area later at night in awhile, but it seems like every time I have gone to Walmart or Albertsons and it was at least early evening, there was one or two fo the same dudes with the same story "my car ran out of gas and I need money to fill it up", I tell them I don't have anything to give them and then ignore the frick out of them at that..

This isn't a gas station, but the exit out of the Target parking lot by iHop is a good spot for anyone looking for beggers.

Don’t sleep on Bluebonnet and Perkins. It definitely is not the worst, but there are more than you’d think.

I haven't lived there in over a decade but if my memory serves correctly the Racetrac on Florida and N Foster seemed bad.
