5.0 V8

2.7L ecoboost

3.5L ecoboost

Will be towing a 3000 Lb boat and a 4000 Lb camper.

From what I understand, the 3.5 ecoboost produces more mid range torque than the 5.0

Hard to beat the 5.0 if you want something proven and reliable.

On paper the 3.5L certainly looks like the best, but will it have the longevity of the 5.0?

GMC 5.3 is not for adults. Wouldn’t you mean the 6.2 lil baw? I don’t even have a GMC and know that.

It’s a ten year old motor now. Plenty reliable

Probably won’t see it on any future Grand Tour specials though

5.3 is a sweet spot. 6.2 is for posers who are compensating for other things....lil baw.

Kind of hard to do that with a six cylinder even with glass packs. Sounds like a goddamn vibrator going down the street.

Don’t the ecoboosts have fake exhaust tones pumped in to the speaker's to cover up the weak v6 exhaust tone?
