Imagine that. Walmart in an upper middle class community isn’t filled with trashy people. Who knew?

Don't go to Wal-Mart. There are many better options in Baton Rouge at which to do your shopping.

if you've never been to the Cortana WM, you're not a real Baton Rougean (Baton Rouger? BROLAn?)

Can anyone explain to me why a certain group of people are always talking on speaker phone? Driving in traffic? Phone held underneath their chin talking on speaker. Sitting at a bar? Speakerphone. Maybe even facetime. Sitting in a stall in a public restroom? "Aye man what it is?" coming through the speaker.

I had one of these speakerphone users stay at my place for a couple weeks back in college and we would be talking and hanging out and all of a sudden youd hear some random shite come from his cell phone sitting on the table. He would have this girl on the phone for like 6 hours of the day and just leave it on speaker and I'd forget all about it and suddenly every now and then theyd stop and start talking to each other again out of nowhere.
This is the future

Just driving by Cortana is impressive. Usually about ten shopping carts turned on their sides being used as bus stop seats.

I was traveling to Memphis up 55 last year around this time and detoured to Ole Miss. Instead of getting back on 55 it took us through Holly Springs, and I felt like I was on a different planet in the Walmart we stopped at. It was clean, everyone was polite from the workers to the customers, they all spoke good English. It was so weird.

There are many Wal-Marts in BR I have not been apparently, but fwiw the abomination that some have mentioned on college drive has been not so terrible the last several times I've been.

Not sure if I got lucky or wasn't paying attention but I'd be interested in hearing other thoughts.

Which Target are you shopping at? Bc I’ve never tried to buy the same items and been anywhere close to the same price.

Was this before or after they made the parking lot a designated CATS hub?

It must have been before... Or I just didn't noticed... But is it really?

Please elaborate on the shite going down at O’neals. I haven’t been in over 3 years and I can’t imagine what now.
3 years ago I recall seeing someone pull their pecker out randomly and I lost my shite.

O’Neal the worst one.
Freaks are out 24/7.

Cortana not that bad first thing in the morning.
After 10 am the freaks come out during the day and then night.

I frequent wal mart when I need to make non meat/produce purchases.

That said the one on O'Neal takes the cake and it's not even close in my eyes.

This is the key to all stores, not just WalMart. I used to grocery shop on Sundays, but switched to Mondays sometime before lunch. The difference has been night and day.

The Neighborhood WalMart by my house has long lines and is out of basic shite like bagged salad on Sunday nights. Just a few hours later on Monday morning, every shelf is stocked and ready with new stuff.

I never made it up to the one at Cortana, as I wasn't brave enough to venture too far up into the 'hood. The one on O'Neal was pretty damn bad. College was bad, but it was like being in one on the first of the month every day of the week.

I would usually go visit my friend out on the east side of town and go to the Target on Millerville if I needed something that wasn't in the Neighborhood Market at Lee & Highland.

Used to shop at Target in BR but know for a fact the prices are much higher. Slashed inventory and raised prices about 3-4 years ago. Now shop Sunday morning at College Dr. Walmart. Avoid the first few days of the month. Free money days.
