I'm getting tweets from NWS New Orleans about flash flooding and up to 10" of rain starting tomorrow evening through Thursday.

ETA: removed hyperbolic reference to 2016

I am pretty sure he is asking about the New Orleans not Baton Rouge.

A few weeks back the Mobile area got 14"+ of rain twice in one week and it barely got noticed.

The first 10 inches feels the same. It’s that extra 15 inches on the backend that hurts.

Mobile has only had 21” of rain this year. 30” in a week would get noticed.

25 inches wasn't forecasted either in 2016. We are dealing with a stalling MCS here. Totals could really start to stack up
