I would hurl Butterscotch and it would be a violent hurl.

The ones my mom use to make when I was a kid back in the 70s during the summer using homemade ice cream and a blender that looked just like this.

If you hurl and I catch a whiff of it, I’m gonna spew.

Excellent.

When I was a kid, every one of them was the best. It didn't matter where it came from.

It costs five dollars?

You don't put bourbon in it or anything?

The sad thing is that's probably about a normal price now

I don't know if it still there in BTR, but Hoppers Drive In on Florida Blvd had the best.

It was a yellow blender like that. I don’t remember if it came from Germany, but there is a chance it did. My uncle was stationed in Germany in the 60s and I know we had a clock and a stereo along with some other stuff that he bought over there and sent back home.

Are you talking about the one that was just north of the LSU campus where the Circle K station is now. I went there often back in '63-'65. On Friday or Saturday nights you had to wait for someone to leave, to find a spot to park. Or park nearby and go inside. There malts were very good and also their hand squeezed lemon aids that were great. The malts were probably 20+ oz and cost about $.50-.60. Watching the "soda Jerk" make everything was great entertainment.

Bingo

Even that little shop they opened in Drusilla Shopping Center was awesome.
