I visited some friends there about ten years ago, and they all joked how bad the dating scene was, specially dating if you're right of Mao. One made the Menver joke. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Denver. At least in the winter months the riff raff look for shelter off the streets.

Skiing, mountains, and girls in winter clothes are also a plus. Definitely Denver.

This was a legitimate question 10-15 years ago. At that time, both of these cities were at their peak. Now there are more homeless and mentally ill or drug addicted people roaming the streets like the zombie apocalypse.

If I had to choose, it would be Denver.
