Yeah neither city really appeals to me now. No city does really.

Denver....
Northern Colorado, Most of the Western Slope and nearby Wyoming are close enough to make Denver's warts bearable...
I did enjoy Denver more, before it was invaded by the beautiful people of California...

Estes Park and the Poudre Canyon are amazing drives in NoCo. Drove down to Blackhawk and that drive was amazing. Beautiful casino town
Every drive is a beautiful drive alongside the mountains. Colorado >Texas

Rocky Mountain National Park is also amazing

Only reason I made that post was that I'm literally moving to Idaho in a couple months.

Austin is like liberal California without the good weather.
So, Austin is Denver

Of those two, Denver. However, I just spent a week in San Diego and I’d move out there in a heart beat if I was young. I went out there fully expecting to hate it(politics, homeless, crime, etc) but it was phenomenal in that small sample size.
I went out there a few years ago. I could not believe how nice the people were. I'd move there too.

I am opposite of everyone. I have spent alot of time in the Denver area for business and I HATE it with a passion.
About the only place near there I would live is either Golden or Lakewood. I couldn't afford any of the other areas near there, but Denver... I will pass.
