The little bit I saw of this stretch of beach front road, I didn't see any obvious good places to watch football.

I'm not sure. I haven't seen one but haven't looked.

Best beach weather I ever seen. Cloudy and not hot

Dirty Dicks is good, Dat Cajun Place is great as is the wicked wheel. Plenty of TVs, nice bar, great food for those 3. Patches on the east end is the best but it will be packed and they only serve beer/wine. Buffalo Wild Wings in pier park is the only sports bar type place.

Salty Sues, Bayou on the Beach, and Finns would be my top 3. Finns is number 1-the shrimp quesadilla is life altering.

The owner Justin is from Lafayette and a big LSU fan too. Also the island nachos appetizer is a 10/10

I will be on the west end of Panama City Beach (near where Front Beach and Back Beach Road split) over the weekend. I know they have quite a few new(ish) places near there. Any of them good? Or any local joints near there you recommend?

Dandy Don's had a link to a place on 30A hosting a LSU watch party. for 30a/SanDestin/Destin/Panama City. The link is at the bottom of his daily update. Probably a pull-down link at the top of the page also.

I live on the west end about a mile west of pier park. That's considered the "west end" by people that live here. All the places I named besides salty sues are considered to be on the "east end." Anyway, besides sues I highly recommend The Sandbar. The fried grouper sandwich is the truth and the blacknblue burger is super. Also "eat my patsy" which is right across the street is really good, the fish and chips are their signature dish. Panama Pizzaria is great for pizza and draft beer. Mui Waynos gets my vote for best Mexican. All those restaurants are within walking distance of each other. Stay away from Coconuts by sandpiper, it's awful.

And GregMaddux, dirty dicks is east end and has really good food and a decent bar, but doesn't have a gameday atmosphere, even tho I've enjoyed plenty of LSU games there just getting drunk at the bar.
