Just leave the state. You’re an idiot. We don’t want you here.

I'd have put Gen. Claire Lee Chennault at the top of that list!

How about a suburb of Louisiana, like Diamondhead?

I have to drive to Sugar Mill Pond every morning to bring my daughter to school. The traffic northbound on Verot is a disaster. It is backed up from Heleaux's to the roundabout in Youngsville. I would kill myself before having to fight that everyday.

We lived in SMP for 8 years before moving to Holden Heights in Lafayette in 2015. Was the best decision we ever made. I'm in the center of town and walk to Moncus Park, Cajun Field, work, and great bars and restaurants.
It's the ULTIMATE live, work, play.

Bawcomville

You can get Hunts pizza from Jed's trailer. Don't even have to walk to the Chevron. What's the problem?

Don’t forget Shirley Q. liquor is from Ferridsy, too. Why isn’t she listed on the sign?

Good Lord yes. However, his wiki mentions nothing about him being from Ferriday, and only states that he grew up in the Louisiana towns of Gilbert and Waterproof.

That being said, the The Gilbert welcome sign describes the village as the home of U.S. Lieutenant General Claire Chennault, so somebody's not telling the truth.

If you are wanting to live in the suburbs or a neighborhood there isn't any place in LA that isn't easily bested in most other states. Mand/Cov is a dime a dozen in the Houston metro area.

Agreed. It's quiet, pretty, and everyone keeps to themselves.

That and Gus's makes a pretty good burger.
