Klondyke, LA - Knife Capital of the South.
At least that's what the sign at the gas station states.

When you get one, practice the art of seppeku

If you're going to get a sword, you really need to learn how to use it properly. Try this.

I just thought you were kidding about the sword-fedora connection. LOL funny pics. I like Japanese blades just because of the technique and skill it takes to make a genuine blade and bring it all the way to a finish. It's a pretty amazing art form (or forms) It's one art to forge a blade, another to sharpen and polish it to a shine, other art forms to create all the hardware for the handle and handguard. Damn Japs know how to make everything an art form.

I actually got one from a local shop, but it broke not long after, so I’m still on the hunt for a reliable online source...

Psht. Katanas are for fools. Real gentlemen use naginatas.

Bob Sacamano sells those over on the next block next to the guy twirling the umbrellas.

I stumbled upon a great website by chance while browsing forums. It has a fantastic selection of katanas. I found a tachi sword for sale there that I ended up getting for a friend's collection. The quality seems top-notch, so it might be worth checking out :)
