Unfortunately they are fighting an uphill battle right now. When the "new ownership" took over a few years ago they had a terrible business plan. It was guanunteed to fail.
The people behind this new push have good intentions but it will be almost impossible to turn a profit with what they are proposing.
Just buying time IMHO.

I haven't signed up yet and probably won't. If I do I'm only doing mornings. Haven't touched a club since early November and really haven't had the urge to play........too much fun filling the freezer with specks and reds.

How've you been? I was in Nola last Thursday for a baseball thing. Played Audubon for shits beforehand since that's where the alumni tourney will be in a couple months. Should have hit you up.

Yep. I've had fliers mailed to my house soliciting membership. They've also had some neighborhood meetings regarding the course. Problem for me is that I would have to play there several times a month to make it worth my while...and I don't live in Willowdale, close, but not in that subdivision. Then I hear they also have "Community" membership options which allow for use of the tennis courts and a few other things with "limited golf." But, again, I don't think I'd get my money's worth with that either.
