I think most folks 25-35 would rather a nicer place to have some drinks and food. Spend a few dollars more to get away from the DoBrahs and other fist bumpers. So yes, something is needed, but do restaurants already fit that bill?

Sorry for not liking smoke.
Would you be alright with me farting in your direction while you eat? Good loud fart that smells like rotten eggs? Maybe do that 20 times during your hour or so sitting?

How any young person can start smoking baffles me. I would assume just about everyone has had an uncle/aunt/grandparent or someone who has had health problems or died from smoking related illness's.
It's expensive, you smell like shite when you smoke, and you taste like an ashtray, and you look trashy.

I don't care if places allow smokers. It's their right to. i just won't go, as well as many other people.

Try out some happy hours in Perkins Rowe, Kona Grill has a pretty good one.

Also Olive or Twist behind where the new Rum House is going is pretty cool

That's what I'm tired of, the restaurants.

They opened up a bar called Ice House and Heaux Jeaux's on airline by Kleinpeter, but I havent been to them yet.

Yea, those are good. Olive or Twist is small though.

Baton Rouge is funny...Everyone complains about lack of bars, but then go and support shitty chain restaurant happy hours or douche-huts like Lava Cantina

ETA: Not saying that you do that, I just replied to your disdain of restaurant/bars in BR

Bulldog would be a better experience and draw a bit less trashy crowd if smoking was limited to the patio.

the only time bulldog has trashy people in it is on wednesday nights and smoking has nothing to do with trashy people being there, if there are any

Radio Bar is a good one also, whoever mentioned that
