Where do pines trees snap

I have a 90 foot pine tree in my front yard. Trying to calculate my comfort zone with the house. Do they usually snap about half way up? I took the water oak out about 2 months ago, but left up the pine, brilliant.

Right around the the trunk area. Most common place for them to snap.

Figure out the wind impact- for instance, if wind will be blowing from the north and your house is south of the tree, you’re in danger.
The pine could snap anywhere. Wind will test it to see if any weakness and that’s where it will snap or it might not snap at all.
Limbs are another issue. They can be huge.
Good luck and stay safe

the tall ones like that will normally snap in half.
they sway too much at the top to uproot.

It honestly depends on how you have it trimmed. If you have all of the lower branches cut off they will typically snap in half.
If the lower branches are still there, then it can snap much lower.

Depends on where the weakest spot is

Do you have any nuisance beavers?

Thanks.
Tree is directly west of the house by 35' and no branches below 45'. I looked at surface winds, gusts and direction for my zip on NHC website. My worst scenario at the present time forecast is the window from 4-7 p.m. when surface winds(50 mph) and gusts(75 mph) will be from NW to SW. I need for this thing to go further east and soon.

If the ground is dry, about half way up (as evidenced by driving anywhere near Panama City the past couple of years).
If the ground is saturated, they can uproot.

Either that’s photo shopped or that pine tree was completely rotten and hollow on the inside
No way that single wide corner holds up with thousands of pounds on it like that
