This is a sport where drinking is built in. Winners buy a round or two for “losers” who are really winners for getting free beer. Then after a round or two the “losers” buy a round or two then after a few more rounds plus a hat or two of a good rye nobody remembers who “won”

I saw remnants of fires on the ice when I worked in Alaska. The locals told me they drive their jeeps out there and build fires, play music, drink, etc.

I don’t see me ever trusting ice strength enough to drive over it then build a fire next to it. Nah, probably not.
