Bank. They ended in 1969 but you can still spend them.

Real answer, I'm sure you can find them at any coin or "gold" pawn shop type of store. I went in a coin and gold store recently with a friend that wanted to buy some gold coins, and they had all kinds of "rare" bills.

Thanks….but that is not exactly what I had in mind! I just asked the teller at bank if I could get one and she looked at me like I have two heads…completely puzzled her!

eBay may have some as collectibles. But you will spend more than 1,000.

With inflation going the way it has over the last few years, it may be time for them to start printing them again.

I went to the credit union the other day for another issue and I asked about a two dollar bill and was told they don’t even have them anymore and that I can special order them but you have to get them in $2000 increments

I have a $500 and $1000 bill that I found when cleaning out my father-in-law's place after he passed away a few years ago. They have been sitting in our safe since. Our kids will probably find them there when we pass.

Started out like a typical OT “found a few in my butlers extra corvette change tray” then I continued reading for legit CSB

Go to a local gun show and be prepared to get bent over, don't waste your time going to banks.
