Where and when can you find the best fall colors in the USA?

the little flashes of foliage we get here in La are nice but i want to go somewhere where every fricking tree is red or yellow or orange or whatever.

Here in Asheville this weekend had all that going. But yes, NOVA, Maryland is the best when it comes to fall.

The Rockies are nice when the aspens are turning, but that's in late August/early September in the high country.

Correct answer. The leaves are supposed to be the best colors in twenty years this year due to the rainfall amounts. All over western North Carolina.

It takes a little longer in the PNW, and a lot of the foliage is evergreen. But we still get some great colors.

Not sure about the best but heres a pic from WV. The color is better right now in the higher elevations, but its still nice. Virginia has some nice color as well.

Almost wrecked in NOVA the first time I drove up there during the fall.

Thought those colors only existed in books...
