My dad and I are taking. My 7 and 5 year old to their first game in Tiger Stadium tonight. Going to be a memory for all of us to look back on for the rest of our lives and that thought makes me tear up, it makes me so happy and appreciative I still have a chance to do this with my dad and kids.
my dad died in 18 of cancer. I took a lot videos of him with the grandkids, I still watch. Make sure take some at the game…. Prayers

I've teared up a few times since but driving to the airport to go home when my dad died. I was numb until it hit. Glad I was alone as I struggled with the wheel. Every now and then it wells up in me like being kicked in the gut. I'll get over it in heaven, I hope.

I cried last weekend when I brought my dad to the emergency room. They wheeled him back and wouldn’t let me go back with him. I was furious. I walked to the waiting room and broke down. The security guard told me I had to leave the waiting room because of covid. I had to sit in my car for two hours waiting to get information on my dad. His heart rate was through the roof. That sucked. The fear of the unknown and being told you can’t even sit in the hospital to wait for him or see him.

Agreed. Put my pup down Thursday. I still weep just thinking about him.

Yesterday.

I was entering a phone number, and you know how your phone tries to guess what you're entering? I entered a couple of digits and it auto-populated 'Dad Hospital'. Didn't remember that was still in my phone and it hit me unexpectedly.

He died in February.

18 months ago when my ex wife and I decided to separate. No tears because of my pain, but the pain of my girls. They sobbed uncontrollably when they heard the news and I held them and broke down. I've been to many funerals over the years and didn't shed a tear, but seeing the pain in my kids eyes was just too much.

I typically get teary eyed every time I look at the stained glass while singing hymns, and also when watching Jordan Peterson conversations.

Every damn day since my brother passed 11/23/18, although now I am able to hold it together and only allow myself to grieve when I'm alone. Miss you Samuelclemens!

Put my dog down a week ago. Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.

It's MUCH better now. My older twins are in a good place right now and excelling in school. My younger twins are still having a tough time though. Not really a sadness in them, but a lack of understanding why mommy and daddy live in different houses.
