I did buy conversion kits for my 5 gallon cans to put them back to the normal spout and vent instead of the new epa bullshite.

Last summer my tank went empty with it saying 13m to empty. Had to walk from Napoleon to the gas station on Claibourne.
Then two weeks later it did it again with 18 miles left. So that time I just filled an empty rum bottle with gas and it was enough. Now I don't go below 25m left to empty.
I think it's because my car calls for 93 but I detuned it to run on 87.

I have a 1 gallon and a 5 gallon can. I bought both of them 32 years ago when I bought my first house. Have no idea what I paid but they both have the old school nozzles on them and not the new shite.

never run fuel lower than a quarter tank
it cost less to keep the tank full as it does to keep it empty…
