Never voluntarily brushed but I remember the teachers made us all use mouthwash everyday.
It came in an individual container.
We also had the nurse come in and do head lice checks.

I didn’t but I might start.
I went to a work thing recently where we had rooms on campus and after lunch I went back to my room to brush my teeth and it felt pretty amazing.
Hard for me to think of brushing my teeth in a spot where other people are also doing their business, though.
