Why are you putting up a tree before Thanksgiving? This is getting ridiculous/

Today is when we have some time. We aren’t doing full scale decorating until next Friday.

I'm doing it today. We leave town for Thanksgiving on Tuesday, and don't want to deal with it when we get back.

I’m not asking for help, I’m just here to complain.

This is my Christmas Tree, it’s still in the garden shed. It’s still November!!

This is what it will look like.

Frickin lightweight kids

You should have to deal with strings in series - one bad light they all go out.

You have to start at one end, replace the light, if that doesn't work put the bulb you just removed in the next socket, repeat until you find the bad one.

I am not sure why they ever made strings of lights like that.

Yeah. 12 foot minimum for the living room. Anything smaller looks tacky.

Well, you can quit tithing to the church of gump bagmen or afford decent decorations.

Can't have both.

Well, we have multiple smaller trees that go in different rooms throughout the house, so live trees aren’t plausible for all of those. Those are the trees I am dealing with today.

2 lines of thought.

1. Toss the tree and get a new one with LED and where one light does not prevent other lights. They make these and they are worth it.

2. Wrap the tree with strands of lights, that is how we lit trees back on the 1900s.
