When you got married did you do so with the understanding that it was pretty much the end

of your sex life ?
I mean it's common knowledge that married people lose sexual desire for each other shortly after marriage, especially women.
I understand people wanting to have a family & spend the rest of their lives together, but it's impossible to have burning desire for the other person for decades.
Just seems kind of sad that on the rare occasion that married people have sex that they are both pretending that the other person is someone else.
Wives are usually pretending that they are F'ing their "work husband" while he's pretending that she's Sydney Sweeney.
Do you just consider that part of the price you pay for marriage/family ?

This guy......
Only advice I can give you:
Serious advice: Never stop dating, even after you're married. Always treat her like a girlfriend.

I'm not against people spending the rest of their life with one woman,.
It's just R.I.P. to your sex life.
It's a fact that a woman's desire for her husband drops off a cliff within the first 3 years of marriage.
That's just one of the things that scares the shite out of me regarding marriage.

40, been married 17 years this summer, Mrs hottub is 8 months younger. I think we have fricked more the last 3 years than the first 3 of marriage. We have 7 “trophies” as well.
Buy some risqué clothes and something that puts her outside her comfort zone.

Ya'll really need to stop marrying these people's ungrateful arse daughters and giving in when they make your life shitty because they're miserable themselves. Send her arse back to her parents that raised her that way.

So you started off wrong in your first sentence. Not everyone is exactly the same. Some couples have lots of sex and some have none.

Slow down. Every single post you have made has been discussed here many, many times. You are bringing absolutely nothing to the table except the old re-hashes.

No, of course not.
Why would I marry someone that wasn't compatible with me?

Compatible before marriage, but shortly after the wedding women lose all desire for their husbands & they just have sex as a chore.
It's a well known fact.
