La is working on a project to track offender arrest data to adjudication. The state is funding through a series of grants. These DA’s that plea down multiple offenses on repeat offenders will get exposed. That’s the plan anyway.

Lol. It isn’t 1979. Cities are doing extraordinarily well. I assure you that the people buying seven figure homes in American cities have the means to leave. Nearly every urban core has undergone a wholesale renaissance over the last two decades.
I’m guessing your view of America’s cities is tainted by New Orleans, which is a complete dump and not representative of everywhere else.

This would be incredibly interesting, although I doubt it lives up to potential because it’ll expose the shite out of every big city DA in Louisiana and they won’t like that.

Youthful offender diversion has actually driven up crime because it gives offenders the impression of leniency. I'd like to see the statistics on those that have diverted from crime versus those that repeat offend. I know when they catch teens that make the news, they seem to all have previous charges.
