Alabama will preach about small government, being free, etc, but don't you smoke weed you fricking loser. IDk if it will ever be legal here. We did pass a law allowing UAB to study CBD for kids with seizures this year. Not sure where that will go.

Should heroin and meth be legal?

It's sad that the common reasoning for legalization is for more extortion and not because it is recognized that people own their bodies and decisions.

Been saying this for years myself.

Yep, around 10 years. Over the next 4-6 years we'll probably hit double digits in States that have legalized.

At that point you'll see the classification for it at a Federal level changed, and then it will be legal all over country in a hurry.

It should be decriminalized.

Decriminalization doesn't fix supply side violence, unfortunately.

True, and I think it should be legal, but the closest we will ever get will be decriminalization

Which state in the south will be the first to legalize medical marijuana?

Correct, but it does aid in users for possession not going to prison/jail and eating up tax dollars.

It is technically legal in AL. Google Carly's Law.

I think the 1st southern states to legalize it will be Florida, North Carolina and Virginia.

FL, MS, and Ark seem to be the consensus 3 that I see, but who knows.

The baptists run STRONG in Tennessee...

I guess I can see Arkansas being one of the first in the south to go legal too.
