Looks like all #BatonRouge police chief candidates will be asked same questions in same order.

Requirement for all civil service positions for the same questions to be asked. I believe I remember the same order was a requirement as well.

Wrong
I interviewed for a civil service position & I was asked a question that did not apply to everyone being interviewed.

Sounds like a good way to level the playing field, after the best answer comes out and the remaining few repeat it, they all seem to be responsible candidates

wow, watched the highlights on the news...what stood out the most was the candidate who wanted "compassion from the police when dealing with" criminals

Reminds ya of when some shitty school in Baton Rouge gives black kids the test questions for an open book test that they have two weeks to prep for. It’s worth a majority of their grade.

Kid brings it back, but fails the test anyway. Then, he/she gets socially promoted anyway and the parents have a party/bbq.

all joking, down voting, and up voting aside .... life is way too short to live in a place like Baton Rouge. just look at the trash that runs the city.

Just because they asked you a question that they did not ask others, does not mean they did not ask you all of the same questions that they did ask the others.

Replying to @EmmaDischer and @theadvocatebr

Committee member Ted James asked if committee can view a plan that candidate Myron Daniels mentioned. Now they are discussing if they should ask all candidates to submit a plan.

So Myron Daniels was the first interview and the only one who actually went into this thing blind as he didn’t get a chance to know what questions would be asked.

He also was so prepared for his interview that he actually has a written plan on what he would do if hired, and this committee, which has already given every other candidate a heads up on their questions, now wants to also give the other candidates even more of an edge by giving them the chance to duplicate what Daniels had the initiative to do on his own.

What a clown show
