Not trolling, seriously.. What implies a BS as being a Biology degree?
you completing the requirements for a biology degree as outlined in the college's handbook.
HOW ARE YOU NOT GRASPING THE CONCEPT?

The better question is why the hell would you get a biology concentration in a BGS
I got a classical language concentration with a BGS. I knew I was going to law school, and the history curriculum was too constrictive. So I fashioned a schedule that would help me most in law school: Latin, English literature, symbolic logic, economics, and business. It worked.

Am I really being that irrelevant/illogical though?
100% unequivocally absolutely yes.

see, this guy had a plan and KNEW what he was doing and just what the courses he took were and would get him

Well I had a plan, just didn't want to post my life story on here

Ya'll seem very angry today. Easy, folks. It's Friday. Peace out.

We know the plan. You wanted to get a biological sciences degree. You figured out you couldn't figure out stoichiometry and you knew if you couldn't do that then there was no way you could pass an organic chemistry class.
you thought maybe i'll just BGS and concentrate in Biology and everyone will think it's the same. it's not and no one thinks that.

Here you go man. Complete this checklist. Once you have completed it, you can finally say you have a Biology degree. Until then....

what do you tell people when they ask for your major?

After seeing the requirements per the LSU website...
Simple question: did you take ALL of the classes required for a biology degree?

stoichiometry
I learned a new word. Am I correct that this is the most "conservative" field of chemistry?
I don't give a shite if ya'll like that or not, I cracked myself up.

you thought maybe i'll just BGS and concentrate in Biology (since you already completed the lower level courses) and everyone will think it's the same. it's not and no one thinks that.
Slight fix, but nailed it.

Honestly I told them it was it biology. I felt like that's what 50% of my studies encompassed. I was wrong I'll admit that. Now I feel like it offends people that actually have a BS because they worked harder than me. I will now proudly say my degree is general studies. Sorry for the mishap

He didn't even meet the Bio specific course reqs. As told by him he has 30 hrs.
Degree require min. of 36 hrs in just Bio not to mention all other relevant and REQUIRED coursework
