As long as I can feel my fingers, which is kind of important in golf, I will play.

50 is my limit. Anything in the 40s and I'll just wait a day or 2 until it warms back up.

I got a heater that fits in the golf cart cup holder.
I will play it it's 40 or warmer.
Eta: I have played a few times in the 30's and it is not fun anymore at that point.

I played yesterday and the wind made it pretty miserable. If I wasn't playing with my soon to be father in law at a nice course I don't get to play often I wouldn't have been out there.

Temperature tolerance depends a lot on the wind and cloud cover.
I fine golfing when it's sunny and 40 with no wind.
But if it's 50 and windy and cloudy, no thank you.

Playing in the morning here in NC. Gonna be in the 30s when we start with a high of around 42, but sunny and no wind (@ 4mph). Layered clothing and hand warmers. A buddy of mine that I play with all the time getting a propane heater for the cart. Good way to quickly warm up your hands.

I played last weekend in 35° weather. It was pretty tough. Plus i lost a couple balls in some leftover snow patches off of the fairway

Do they even bother maintaining the course in winter? How do you even do that when there's a shite ton of snow on the ground? I'd imagine the snow ruins the course and they bring it back up in spring.

My game at this point in my life is strictly for fun, so golf is in the same category as hunting and fishing. It's a chance to get out of the house, breathe some air, not listen to the bitchin. If the course is open, I'm game. Colder it is, though, the less likely I am to keep score and probably even less likely to be able to add by the end of the round also.

At this point in the winter, we havent gotten much snow this year. Just a couple inches week before last. Ive never even driven by the course in the middle of winter when snow is everywhere. I always just assume it is closed

New Year's day 1989, a buddy and I played 63 holes (that's right - 63 - or 7 trips around the 9 hole course) in Bernice. It was 26 degrees and sleeted all day.
Of course, I was 22 (49 now), so that made a little difference

Played last Saturday at Dancing Rabbit and it was in the 40's, wet and windy. Bearable for 12 holes, miserable finishing up. Sunday was gloomy and foggy, but felt incredible.
Playing Carter tomorrow. Looks like it should be in the 50's and I'm good with that.
