Host would have caught these two hands if I found out they did that to my kid. That's crossing the line.

Trash people if they’re underage serving. Stop letting your kid go over there.

I wouldn't give alcohol to any kid besides my own. That's how you get sued into oblivion

I wouldn't even give alcohol to my kids...and I never did until they were at least seniors in HS. At home, wine with dinner...etc. If they wanted to try it.

Also, I would think that you could be turned in by some Karen who says you're endangering and abusing your child.

he is, but in this instance he is correct

Louisiana law sets out that this will apply other than in the case of limited exceptions. These exceptions include the following:

Where the person is accompanied by a parent, guardian, or spouse that is over 21.

Where the person must handle alcohol as part of their job, such as in a restaurant.

Where the person consumes alcohol in a private residence.

Where the person consumes alcohol as part of a religious celebration.

Sounds like grooming to me. Alcohol is a known tool of predators that are after child and teen victims.

That is a good question for Jake at Statefarm.

If you don’t address it with your kids as a senior they are going to have access to it if they want to try it
I’d rather be proactive with them than having them try to hide it
I’d at least want to try and educate them on how to do it in moderation before they move out for college
Once they go to bars in college they have fake ids to get in

Only on the weekends. And summers. And Christmas vacation. But never on school nights!

This is the legal age in most states with an adult present. They can also have alcohol served, with a parent present, in a restaurant as long as the restaurant allows it.

’ll let my kids’ friends have a couple beers when they’re 16+ if I take their keys and I know their parents well or ask their parents.

Let something happen to one of those kids and see how well you know their parents!
