Don’t know why he just doesn’t get it out of the way and extend it to Jan 2024. Especially now that they are saying LA will never get to herd immunity because the vaccine supply is now outpacing the demand so much that they are reducing the State’s orders

I agree. In my experience in the areas near me in La, NS is about 50/50, Metairie most comply but remove it the second they are outdoors (I feel it’s basically bubble gum holding this damn back), and NO is still pretty strict with it.
If feel like Metairie people are pretty primed to stop caring and take the mask off and similar to how it is on the NS.

According to the LDH COVID Dashboard, 31% have completed and 40% have at least 1 dose of vaccine in Region 1. Not really clear if that is the eligible population or total population number.

I think we have about reached critical mass as far as the vaccine goes. That being said, 40% seems pretty good.

I personally know several folks in SELA that received the shot in Ms bc they opened it up faster. Curious how that factors in to the count.
