You see, that's where you're wrong.

This whole " admitting your privilege" thing IS "black and white".

It serves no useful purpose whatsoever.

Just another tool to divide us and let the cucks fellate the Gods of Political Correctness for all to see.....

It's not virtue signaling to admit obvious shite like being born in the seventh ward sucks. Try again.

It IS virtue signaling to ignore the cause of WHY so many kids are being born into poverty in favor of shaming ones' self and shifting the blame to whitey....try again, do better....

When did you first become aware of your privilege?

When I was in my late teens early 20's I apparently didn't come to a complete at a stop sign. A cop pulled up behind me, threw his lights on.

I didn't try to run from him. Instead, I put on my blinker, pulled over, had my drivers license and registration in hand.

As he approached me, I did 't fight him or argue with him. I didn't try to steal his weapons either. I was respectful and polite.

He gave me a traffic ticket and asked that I make a better effort to come to a complete stop next time.

To this this day, I always make sure to come to a complete stop at stop signs.

ETA: And to this very day, I remain confused why some folk insist on fighting with the police and then get angry when things don't turn out so good.

The admission of privilege is just more bullzhit aimed at dividing people and excusing the shitty behavior of millions of people who perceive themselves as victims..

Or you just recognize how fortunate you are/be thankful for it.

I was raised upper middle class, attended great catholic schools, etc etc, and it all set me up to be successful as an adult. I can recognize and be appreciative that I was born into a stable and healthy environment.

This bootstrap narrative that people can will themselves to success and advantages/disadvantages don’t exist is just a myth perpetuated by people who want to have hope that their hard work is worth something more than it is. Keeps the cogs in the machine in line.

Privilege is derived from money and class much more than the largely fictitious white/black paradigm. You want privilege, get money.

This is not entirely true. There is more class mobility in the United States than anywhere else in the world.

Um, one doesn't have to self-flagellate tho'.

Many of us feel thankful without feeling guilty....

This whole "privilege" narrative isn't organic, it's a narrative created and being pushed by racist Leftists.

Oh, I certainly agree that it's a privilege to be born an American. I didn't think that is what we were talking about though.

I have worked like a dog my whole life. I wasn't born privileged. Far from it. Growing up we ate a lot of fish and game.
