Because the literal definition of “privilege” says “an advantage available only to a particular person or group.“ Two parent households are available to all races and socioeconomic groups.
why don’t kids just chose to born into better family situations? Seems pretty simple

It’s funny, I’ve asked that like 4 times now and not one of them has answered.

I want to be able to identify as many advantage/disadvantages as I can
Then use the words “advantaged/disadvantaged” instead of privilege.

Is it an advantage to have two parents? Yes. And like others have said, it should be the norm and strived for.

some of y'all just focus too much on the lefts definition of privilege to where y'all automatically think its bad

Yeah. I'm included in that "others" category.

At an early age I found out I was not athletically privileged enough to make it in the NBA as a 5'8" PF. Maybe the NBA's Affirmative Action plan will be in effect to have a token white guy by that time.

A lot of the push back definitely comes from the SJWs painting all white people with a broad brush by using terms like "white privilege"

Sports are too important. We only apply those rules in business where it doesn't matter

So why didn’t everyone choose to be born into a family like yours?
You’re retarded. No one can “choose” who they’re born to. It’s your choice to bring children into the world in a good situation, or a shitty situation. Quit being obtuse.

What you should ask is: So why doesn’t everyone choose to graduate high school, get a job, not become a criminal, not have children they can’t afford, get married and stay married?

Why can’t they do this so their children can be “privileged?”

More successful? The guy who won more championships. That is the ultimate measure of success for an NFL player. “You play to win the game.”
That is just fricking stupid.

Terry Bradshaw won 4 Superbowls. You think any NFL head coach would pick Bradshaw over Manning for their QB?

There’s individual success, and team success.

The exact point you're arguing.

The traditional definition of privilege is probably something 90% here cannot identify with. The modern use is what you're arguing, and it's been bastardized for political purposes.

The average person is not "privileged."

The kids don't have a choice, but the parents do.

But let's not act like kids from single parent/broken homes can't be successful.

There are tons of programs to help poor kids. The problem is that most of them have already set themselves up for failure by the time they are a young adult.

Correct. There’s a lot of poor white folks out in the sticks of rural America, that wouldn’t fit the definition of privileged.

Most likely because the left does use the word privilege as if it's bad

Privilege isnt earned, its given. Privilege by definition is reserved for the few, not the average.
