My wife cleans with microfiber cloths. Says they work "real good".

I have a pile of saints rags from home games that I use to cook with. Anyone that cooks doesn’t use paper towels in the kitchen

I use paper towels. Probably go through 3 rolls a week. I don’t recycle a single one.

Paper towels are for cleaning up the splatters, greasy messes, spills, etc. They get rid of the big heavy messiest spots.
Dish towels are still the number 1 seed for when the spot messes are cleaned up and everything gets sprayed down with bleach and water and wiped or if something needs scrubbing. The towel immediately goes into the laundry room after use, though, in my house. It doesn't sit there all day in the sink and wet. A new day, a new towel.
ETA: Oh. You bumped a year old thread. I hope an old Italian coughs on you.

I have paper towels in the bathroom but I was doing this way before this stuff came about. Think we had a party quite a while ago and I didn't want everyone using the same hand towel -- just never put the towels back.
