The switch from cloth to paper towel and how widespread you make it seem.
Like this isn't a conversation I have with people and I don't see it blasted on the news or anything.

The only difference between SlOweO and OweO is SlOweO can walk.
All of their threads suck

I use wash cloths btw. They go in the washing machine after each use.

Towels are for drying hands, or setting some hand washed dishes on. Paper towels are for small spills, occasionally to dry hands or May for a sammich. I use Clorox wipes or whatever they are for cleaning counters, table, appliances.....
This seems like common sense, but as they say, common sense is not common any more.

How are Clorox wipes common sense? Those things are a wet mess and leave awful streaks.

Let's see if the mods think this thread is more worthy than my blind people wiping thread

I use them to clean the smudges my wife, kids and mother in law leave on every fricking appliance we have in the kitchen.

No but she’s here enough that I have to clean up after her.

Same goes for toilet paper - when did folks quit using a rag to wipe their butts?

Oh no, awful streaks.... Clean awful streaks. And streaks don't show up on any of my stuff. A washcloth will leave a streak though. I don't really care about streaks, I care about cleanliness. If I package up raw meat for the freezer or prepare it for cooking, I want that shite 99.99% sanitized

Are you rubbing the raw meat all over the counter and kitchen appliances?

y'all make it sound like you're running a biological lab in your kitchen
I’m admittedly a messy cook. And I cook with some kind of raw protein a lot of meals. If I had to use a new wash cloth between each of those the cost of laundering would outweigh the cost of a roll of paper towels.
