So as long as you add 25% more cost, it's not far off from his claim?

His claim is the small cheese burger and fries costs $12.75. That is bullshite

True story, it's called Five Guys because it used to be $5 for a burger, clever right?

I dunno when they opened but that must've been 50 years ago because they ain't been close to $5 in my lifetime

When they opened in baton rouge they were less than $5. Go eat at one in London or New York they are more than $10.

And it's five guys because 5 guys opened it.

When was it ever cheap? Going out to eat has always been the number one thing to break a family’s budget.

It’s like you’re making a list of places I’ll never eat. Just add TGIFriday, Chili’s, and Red Lobster.

I really like 5guys burgers.

Fries are okay, burgers are good. It is probably a tad overpriced.

Junior "bacon" cheesburger, small fries and a drink.

You left out the bacon and the drink. The drink was almost 20% of your bill pre-tax.

That said, I used to be happy to budget $10 / day for lunch. Very tough to do these days ... gotta figure $15.

No excuses. Youre on the OT where ballers roam and made their first million by your age.

The problem you are having is not knowing where the OP bought these. Five Guys prices vary from area to area. I have seen the little cheeseburger cost almost $7.

I'm looking at the online order menu for the Peachtree location right now. Little cheese burger is $5.89. Little fries are $3.39.

Stop lying.

Lit is good, but the rest I agree. I don't know what happened to Fat Cow. 2-3 years ago it was great. Last time I ate there it was completely underwhelming. Duck fat fries there are just regular fries cooked, then doused with mystery fat. Gross.

Curbside and Mason's burgers FTMFW.

Panera is stupid. $16 for a half sandwich and half salad with drink. Then I’m hungry again in 2 hours

The hell? Maybe where you eat. Duck fat is superb. Normally the last thing I grab at the Fresh Market on the way to the register.
