Bought two pair of duck head shorts a few weeks ago and I love them. Hard to find shorts that don't cross the knee these days

I always thought Duck Heads were poor kids khakis. I used to wear my Marshall's bought Polo shirts untucked so nobody could see the Duck.

Looking back on it I am disappointed at how brand conscious I was in middle school and high school. What a waste of mental energy.

I should have been grateful that my parents could afford to buy me new clothes every school year rather than worrying about what the label said.

No, it's pretty easy to find shorts that don't cross the knee if you know where to look.

Just curious but why would you pay anything even close to that for khaki pants?

Crazy to see old threads like this. We were so young and carefree then.

Damn, Now I wish I kept the bazillion pairs I had... I could've made bank...

I could rock a pair of Duck Heads and a B-D Baggies oxford better than any frat star today...

Looks like they have a different tag today...

I thought they had gone out of business??? Are they new or retro duckheads?

I can remember when they were work clothes not a lot different than Dickies or even Carhart....then the "in" crowd discovered them and no one could afford to work in them....

He was always found on campus wearing olive duck head shorts, tommy hilfiger polo, ll bean boots, and gold rimmed rayban aviators.

replace the aviators with vuarnet's and the hillfiger with a regular RL brand polo and that was my standard issue.

Probably when they went tits up about 25 years ago then were bought and sold multiple times by investors who were counting on nostalgia to convince guys to overpay for a pair of khakis.
