When the government started paying women more money if they had kids without a father

When feminism told young girls they didn’t need a man in their life because they were strong

When people turned away from religion

These are the three things that have allowed to be OK/encouraged to be a single mother

It’s only cool if they are hot. That is the sad shallow truth.

Let's see. They are afraid to make the men use protection. They can just leave the kid or kids with their family members who seemingly take care of kids all of their lives. The government.

Teen pregnancy might have declined but not unwed mothers. Something like 70% of black kids are born to single moms.

I saw some graph a few years back that showed a single mom is able to accumulate roughly 60k in entitlements per year. Let me go find it.

Edit: Found it. 57k

Pretty fricking odd to blame the women.

That’s a strange way to say they get dumped after some a-hole knocks them up.

Why? It is quite literally half their fault.

I also want to add, men who knock up a woman and then bolt, leaving the woman to fend for herself are real pieces of shite and need to held financially accountable for the child

Being a parent is hard, being a single parent is even harder. Those that do well for themselves and their kid(s) deserve the recognition.

If a man told no lie, or didn’t misrepresent himself in any way in the actions that led up to the pregnancy then I agree. I was a young male though, and I know I used the word love too freely. I want to be with you forever...well, until summer at least.

Women have all the power in choosing who they have sex with. Again, I’m not saying men are blameless. Both people need to know having a baby is an outcome of having sex, even with protection.

It’s my opinion that the government paying more to unwed mothers than wedded mothers in poverty and the rise of feminism saying women don’t need men in their lives has allowed men to skate on their responsibilities as fathers.
