All I wore to Murphy's Fred's and Sports...Unless it was hot then the trashed white bucks.

I've worn them all my life because my father started wearing LLBean in the 1930's and I grew up on LLBean clothes. Hell I even had an LL Bean Visa for free shipping until they quit charging for it.
I wear the khakis, chambray shirts and I'm typing this with an LLBean t shirt and camp moccasins. I highly suggest these for house shoes.
I have a picture of myself and my father circa early 70's quail hunting in Catahoula parish with those boots on, upland vests and double barrel shotguns and birds hanging out of the pockets. I was about 13 and it is my favorite picture and framed on my desk.
They are timeless not trendy.

I got mine in the early 90's while at LSU....still got them, but they make my feet so damn sweaty that I hardly wear them any more.
damn good shoes though, that will keep your feet dry and toasty warm during the winter.
the insoles did rot out of mine, does anyone know if they will replace that?...

Yes they will replace it and you can probably call them. I do a lot online but when I need something they answer the phone and fix it. Which is unusual for most places.

My bean boots are 15 -16 years old. They are my oldest shoes and look brand new. American made and worth the money.

I got some of those when I was 15 way back in 95. I wish I would have kept them and my doc martens.
