They'll release it the week before the Bama game. And Gary will organize a protest at one of the stadium gates where only 14 people show up.

Perfect time to do it... while all those professional protesters are stretched thin.
I think you are severely underestimating the amount of dindus-for-hire with no place or prospects of gainful employment available to their progressive overseers.

Hunch, this weekend should have more cops on duty with southern and LSU playing road games.

There will not be a verdict because the officers aren't going to be prosecuted.
The lesson here is:
Don't fight with the cops if you're armed.
If you are armed and fight with the cops, don't try to draw your weapon and accidentally shoot yourself. Even if you don't kill your own self, this might be misinterpreted and you could get killed.
At least that's where I'm at on Alton Sterling.

That's what I've heard, too - either right at close of business on Friday or, perhaps, even on Saturday.
Smart. Even better if bad weather is forecast.

You can't have a verdict without a trail. They will only decide to indict or not.
Just a small detail

But it's pretty much known that there won't be a conviction
Did y'all get called for jury duty?

brpd/lapd squashed the original protests...They won't put up with it
Posted on 9/21/16 at 10:54 am to Jack Bauer7
yep and after the cops were killed they definitely won't put up with any shite
Posted on 9/21/16 at 10:57 am to Geaux BTR
There won't be any charges for the officers.
The evidence doesn't support the claims being made by the BLM.

They don't work, and you know that.

This isn't going to happen. The DoJ doesn't move that fast. They are still waiting on test results and other stuff for the "investigation", then there will be months of writing-editing-rewriting-approvals from Washington, etc. Won't even happen in 2016 IMO.

wont release the decision to not indite until after the election

Oh, I agree. I was just thinking on the departmental/state investigation. DoJ is on a glacial time scale.
But, IF (a big IF) the evidence is as has been leaked, he shot himself in the leg, I predict the chances for criminal charges against the cops in this case will rapidly drop to 0%. I mean, that's de facto grounds to delete him - that he fired at them during the scuffle.

NOTHING happens until the DoJ announces their investigation findings. The state (District Attorney) has already ceded authority to DoJ with respect to the criminal case. That has to be completed and announced before any departmental (administrative) actions can take place.
The "evidence" of which you speak is a rumor and nothing more.

I agree. It was leaked pretty early and has been consistent. However, I agree there isn't any publicly available objective evidence to support this. The only things reported were his criminal history, drug screen results and the fact he was armed.

Although I doubt it, that could take months then - into 2017, even. I think sooner, but I don't know anything of significance.
