...does that make ANY difference AT ALL in your opinion of that product?
To be honest, it irks me...products are MADE, MANUFACTURED, or PRODUCED.
I'm quite certain it's an attempt to convince you its made of superior quality...anyone "buy" that notion?

It's an alternative fact. Get over it.

What sounds better:

Craft Beer

Made Beer

Manufactured Beer

Produced Beer

I'll take Craft Beer

Not particularly.

They could also be CRAFTED... so it doesn't irk me.

Well crafted argument.

No, but sometimes I "buy" the product because I like it regardless.

and it MIGHT say craft beer...and maybe that's French for made in your basement, but it's the same series of steps, just scaled down.

One of those marketing words used to trick people into adding more value to their product. Similar to products that are "all natural". Words that don't really have a clear definition so its not false advertising.

Edit: Craft beer is a general term for smaller breweries. How small does a brewery have to be to be considered a craft brewery... IDK.

...and I'm plenty bright enough to know that it means it wasn't mass produced...but that isn't always the case. Example, Mazda woodwork in it's vehicles...TV ad claims it's "crafted". Bet ya dollars to donuts, that woodwork is lazer cut and sanded, or else it would have NO CHANCE to fit the precut slot it's intended to fit into.

Only if it's in small batches. I hate products that are handcrafted in large batches.

Better than "bespoke." Heard the term "bespoke" ice the other day, awful.

Like any labeling/advertising, the general public believes crap they read and find stupid stuff to be better.

Example: when a bag of candy says "fat free" (of couse it is, its pure sugar) or, my favorite, a bag of sugar says "only 15 calories" (and in small print, per serving. A serving is a damn teaspoon)
