re: What’s your Snowball flavor?

We owned a stand when I was a kid and it was my first "job" so I had a chance to try just about everything. Many are great but there was only one that stood above the rest and I haven't heard anyone mention it.

Lemon-Lime with Condensed Milk

The perfect combination of a cool refreshing drink, a light tartness of lemon, and satisfying sweetness.

Pickle stuffed with ice cream topped with condensed milk.

I’ve always loved dill pickles (no homo) but never quite understood why snowball stands had it as an option.. So you’re the one .

Growing up, it was clear strawberry (to avoid the red mess)

Now, it's dreamsicle stuffed with ice cream.

I remember going to a snoball place in Houma back in the day. They had flavors like "Ninja Turtle," "Smurf," & "Mr.T." I was wondering wtf a "Mr.T" snoball would be so I ordered one just for the hell of it. It was root beer (brown) with a black licorice stripe in the middle. fricking nasty!

This may be controversial but the older I get the less I like snowballs in general. Too sweet and artificial for me. Growing up, I always loved them. Strawberry or wedding cake with condensed milk.

I bet 1/2 banana 1/2 chocolate would be good if you like frozen chocolate covered bananas. I’m gonna give it a try. Saving this to try others mentioned too as it’s too easy to stick with favorites.

Once in a rare while one stuffed with one cream or condensed milk (for chocolate) is good. But I also usually just order plain bc I’m looking for something refreshing. That’s how I discovered watermelon and mango. At a good place, those are light and refreshing vs strong and too sweet.
