I have to shave every day for work. I get out of the shower and just use one a schwick Quattro. Never seems to bother my skin. I change the blade whenever all the blue is gone on the strip

Mach 3 and Barbasol after a shower. Sometimes I'll grow a beard.

After all the talk here about double edge safety razors I took the plunge, sorta. Got the razor from Walmart and the blades are a variety pack off of Amazon, found some I like better than others so far.
But this is probably where I depart from the traditionalists. I do first pass with DES razor, lather back up and shave again but at a different direction (more horizontal) and use a 5 blade Harry’s. Get much longer cartridge life and much closer shave with this method. Standard orange top edge gel.
Getting faster now with less cuts!

I use a Fusion and change cartridges every week (I shave my face with the grain every other day and my head against the grain every other day) with regular Barbasol and Aqua Velva.

Everyone in here is rocking Astra blades...any of you guys ever tried Feather? They're known to be the sharpest blades out there, I believe. I definitely like them & I'm pretty sure I've tried Astra in the past.
Astra a little under half the price and pretty close to the same sharpness. I wasn’t impressed enough with Feather to get rid of my Astra stainless (blue pack).

A beaver bristle brush
Taconic Shaving Soap
Gilette Mach3
Harry's Aftershave lotion
The scent of that aftershave is incredible. It reminds me of the smell of higher end stores back in the mall days. And what do women love more than the scent of shopping for expensive shite?

I’ve been shaving with the same Gillette Trac II since I was a teenager.

Braun electric razor. Shave every 3-4 days post retirement.
Had to top of the line Braun for 35 years until I wasn't paying attention and turned it on while it was charging. It was kaput after that.
Currently use a Philips 5000. It's very vast as the three rotating heads cover a lot of territory quickly. It's got a big footprint.

After the fig leftist at Gillette bought the "toxic male" commercials, I haven't touched a Gillette product. I used Gillette for 70 years, but that fig groomer really pissed me off.

You're making this WAY too complicated.
