They love that stuff there, and they even have a Spam festival.

The native food is pretty crappy for the most part, so I can see why Spam is held in such high regard.

College days: bologna, ramen noodles, peanut butter. Bread from the day old bread store. Beans and rice for special breaks.

I've heard they know how to cook a good pig in a pit. Ama you'd think all of they pineapple and fresh fish, they'd have done good cooking.

They aren't real big on seasonings.

Fairly bland food, IMO.

$1.00 for the frozen mirepoix frozen veggie mix

$1.00 for the beans

$2.99 for a 1Lb. andouille sausage link

$1.00 for a box of cornbread

6 bucks makes dinner for a family of four plus 1-2 leftover meals
