Favorite:I-5 Seattle to the Canadian border.
Least: Can't really say that I have a least favorite. The most boring drive I've ever had was thru W.Texas

Highway 280 in Birmingham = least favorite.
I actually enjoy 59 through South Mississippi and 65 from Nashville to Birmingham.

Favorite: Highway 385 between Fort Stockton, TX and Big Bend NP. It's a desolate, but beautiful stretch of highway.
Worst: I-45 between Conroe and Clear Lake. Terrible traffic and the most unsenic surrounding you could have outside of Gary, Indiana. Makes the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge look like the California coast in comparison.

I-40 because it is always under construction and it's still shite 24/7/365. I-80 because there's nothing there and it is dead flat & straight for as far as you can see.

I did not imply that you specifically compared the two. I merely offered the PCH as an alternative.
I-5 Northbound from Seattle to the Canadian border doesn't even make the Top 500 US Highways.
You need to get out to more places.

Favorites - Highway 20 from the Olympic Peninsula, over Deception Pass, through the North Cascades, and into Eastern Washington.
Highway 9 through Zion National Park.
Least Favorite - Whatever is the one through East Texas.

Once you get out of the construction area on 65 just north of Birmingham, the woods and hills that flow up to Morgan County are beautiful, in my opinion. And I have a soft spot in my heart for the flat fields of cotton that dominate north of the Tennessee up to Davidson County.
