If he is graduating college at 25-26 years of age and that much debt, he has to be in med school or law school. If not, I question it.

Gambling debt? Stupid debt for law school, and for most med school specialties too

Most people who graduate from a public in state medical school have way more debt than 130k in debt. You don't have time to work while in Med school. The study materials are very expensive and the cheapest state schools are at least 20k or 30k in tuition. Just to register for the standardized tests that 4th year students take is over $2400 dollars.
Graduates of private, Caribbean, and osteopathic schools have way way more debt than that.

34. -$200,702. Paying $2,500/month to student loans. Should have those waxed in four years. Also about the time we won't need the $3,000/month nanny. So I'll be dumping about $50k a year into savings and/or investments starting at 37-38.

I know that, just saying that the ROI is very iffy, unless the debt is excused or picked up by some entity that is desperate for a doc in Hooverville or the military, or something like that.
