What's with the purple pictures of Facebook?

I see a bunch of people have changed their picture a purple hue. Does this have some deeper meaning?

I did that "find out how long you have been on Facebook" thing today, and found I spent 33 days of my left on there.

Yea I see a lot of that too. I don't want to know how long of my life I have wasted on there.
