It is easy for me, I am 75 and have never even tasted coffee. Did not see the need for another bad habit.

I posted this a few weeks ago after checking out at Costco. I wasn’t too happy when I found out they are now selling 40oz bags instead of 46oz for the same price.

Meanwhile Walmart has a better price on a pound of Camellia Red Kidney Beans than buying them from Camellia.

I thought they sourced their product in the US

While the vast majority of coffee consumed in the US is imported, Hawaii and California are the only two states where coffee is grown commercially. Hawaii, particularly the Kona district on the Big Island, is renowned for its Kona coffee, known for its smooth, sweet, and rich flavor. California also has smaller-scale coffee farms, mainly in the south, where some experimental coffee production is underway.

We produce enough coffee in the US to supply maybe my office and my house.

Or we could've voted differently and not have to give it up or pay the price. It's that simple.

I like / drink the NO blend with Chicory. You’d think they’d give us a break on the price since chicory was always used as a way to cut the coffee, but no dice.

quote:

Chicory coffee has its roots in Europe, where chicory was used as a coffee substitute during times of scarcity, particularly in the 19th century. It became popular in New Orleans during the American Civil War when Union blockades limited coffee supplies, leading locals to mix chicory with coffee, a tradition that continues today.

Community screwed up when they discontinued their private reserve. Their red bag stuff is average at best.

While I do like the Intense Dark Roast and French Roast, the Louisiana and Evangeline Roasts in the gold bags were very enjoyable. I guess the juice wasn't worth the squeeze on those blends.

I like that.

What I LOVE is the 1.75x caffine great value kcups. After their contract is over not sure who will be the sources of their beans, but not they're great.

That stuff is wonderfull.
NOt sure if the ground coffee is good. After all. Maxwell House kcups are good when their ground coffee is shite.

You should only buy CC coffee when it’s on sale…which seems about every three weeks.
