What's this boards opinion of CBD Oil?

Have you tried it? If so, did it help?

If it's widely legal, it's probably kinda tame and lame.

It helps a lot of ny bodyguards with their aches and pains.

Yeah New York tends to do that with the heavy walking.

My daughter takes it for seizures. Don’t think it helps much but it’s hard to tell. I think it needs a dab of THC for better medical benefits.

I don't have a need for it, but I know it's beneficial for people with epilepsy and anxiety. The oil doesn't make you high and it blows my mind that it is only legal in 30 States.

I read about a study Texas Children’s Hospital was doing with CBD for epileptic kids. It was an astronomical amount of red tape and the DEA required the hospital pharmacy to install a safe so big and heavy that structural engineers had to be consulted to make sure the safe didn’t fall through the floor. Just to house oil with zero recreational value and fewer side effects than Tylenol.

I'm sorry to hear that...I thought they were having good results with it.

You may be right. If it was my daughter, I would probably try to get it illegally if it helps her.

CBD helps some people more than others, like any medicine. I’ve read that patients in Colorado try various THC/CBD ratios until they find one that works. Some people get really lucky and it’s a miracle cure.

Amazing. It's a plant. The FDA has approved of many drugs that were harmful and lead to death and lawsuits. They are being paid by these pharmaceutical companies to approve their products, and you're naive if you think otherwise. The problem with marijuana is that no one has a patent on it, so there isn't enough money to pay off the FDA to approve it. States are starting to approve it, but the Federal Government is not and can shut it down at any time.

It has been proven to help with two types of childhood seizure disorders in some people. But there are other drugs that are usually more effective.

If you want to get your kid high, just say that. THC doesn't help any seizure disorder.

You've done research on this?

Come on man, he's just trying to help his daughter. There are plenty of prescription drugs that have worse side effects.

A guy I work with takes it for knee problems and he was able to stop using prescription painkillers. He actually says the CBD works a 100 times better than prescription pills

You can still sometimes fail a drug test for THC using CBD so don't think it's some loop hole. I've seen multiple people pop dirty for it

Wow, good for him. I have patellar tendinitis on my knee, which is why people keep telling me to try it.

I started taking CBD oils when they became available. My knees would swell after any type of physical activity. Some nights I would come home from the gym or jiu jitsu and have to sleep on the couch because it hurt too much to go up the stairs. My shoulders used to hurt a lot too, and I had limited range of motion.
My knees stopped swelling almost immediately. They stopped hurting not long after that. My shoulders also bother me a lot less. I have better pain free range of motion. I would rate them an 8 out of 10 in terms of improvement on my old athlete pains.

I'll have to give it a try. My right knee hurts like a bitch after I go for a hike.
