Beat the shite out of a suspect who we knew had at minimum kidnapped a little girl, and wouldn't give us the location of her body.
Turns out she was alive and my beating that motherfricker resulted in her being reunited with her family.
Oh, that's not a misdemeanor, never mind - this never happened shhhhhhhhh the guy really did get injured while trying to get away.

actually i need to revise my answer
my GF at the time threw a temper tantrum so I grabbed her and physically threw her out of my house and locked the door. i got arrested for 2nd degree domestic battery which was a misdemeanor
