My submission also involves the entrance of a DC Metro stop, only it wasn’t near the stop you’re referring to. This was near a shite hole.

A bum fricking another bum in the butt at the top of an escalator. It was especially wild because it was about 20 degrees outside and both were wearing big puffy jackets, and of course, neither had pants on. At least they had the courtesy to lay newspaper down. Literally had to say “excuse me” so that I could get on the escalator down and get to work.

I also witnessed a dude commit suicide by jumping off a building in Chinatown on my morning commute, but for some reason the homeless sodomy experience seems wilder.

Car hit by train. Driver ejected. Ragdolled through the air for what seemed like eternity.

Car hit in intersection, landed on side and skidded with sparks flying everywhere for about 100 feet.

Attempted murder. I was at a park with my aunt and cousin at ~7 years old. Guy climbed a tree and opened fire on his girlfriend when she came out of the front door of her apartment next to the park.

All of this was in Hammond in the late 80's.

Also came across a guy who had been run over in a go cart on hwy 22 in the mid 90's between Madisonville and Bedico. It was ugly. Really ugly.

Was at a bar in Malta on a Sunday afternoon. A city bus driver pulls the bus over and I assumed was going on break. He runs into the bar, had a beer, then returns to drive the bus 15 minutes later.

Later that afternoon in a different bar, a soccer club got into a huge brawl.

Sitting in a field at a music festival and I was on acid and ecstasy. “Candy flipping” they call it. Someone right behind us set off a cone firework and it was the wildest shite I had ever seen. Felt like a unicorn crapped a rainbow on my brain.

I worked at Touro from 9/1989 - 3/1990. Hated it

I started there in June of 1990, still there. The place has gone through some major changes over those years. Loved it in the 90’s when Gary Stein became the CEO, not so much now since we and Children’s formed LCMC. Too corporate now…

Hoping to retire in the next few years..

Back at LaTech I saw a guy bounce out of a dumpster after he jumped off the roof of Neilson dorm. GF and I had just returned early from partying. She saw him before he hit and was like "What The Hell???" then I saw him on the bounce and heard it loud and clear through rolled up windows and radio on.

Did this happen in the 1970s? I seem to remember something like that.

I was behind an old guy on a motorcycle, pavement was wet from recent rain.He was in left lane with a car in front of him, there was a pickup in right lane next to the car.
Light turns red,he puts on brakes and rear end went out from under him.He and motorcycle hit the pavement, perpendicular to the lane and bounced back up.Motorcycle straightened itself up and took off down the road between the car and pickup without touching either one.
As it traveled down the road motorcycle stared veering off to right and ran off road and crashed under an overpass. His helmet came off and he had a gash in side of his forehead,I was holding pressure on it with some napkins when cop got there. He initially thought the old guy was a pedestrian and I had hit him with my truck.I pointed out the helmet on the side of the road and told him the motorcycle was under the overpass.
He just said that’s not something you see every day.

Another motorcycle story-I was on Navy Shore Patrol in Rota Spain and we were dispatched to a wreck one morning involving a sailor. We had just got there and a woman pulled up all excited and said a man on a motorcycle had just got ran over by a car up the road.I took off and came to a car in the ditch and a motorcycle in the road.Didn’t see anybody laid out but there were a few people clustered up talking, including a Spanish Marine with his back to me.I asked where was the motorcycle rider, someone said it was the Spanish Marine,I tapped him on the shouder and he turned around. They wore blue pants and white tunic,he had a perfect tire track across his chest. I asked him if he had any pain and he said no.He looked pretty pale,I wanted to call an ambulance but he said no,one of the bystanders would take him to the base.
He wasn’t American so I couldn’t make him,I guess he was ok.Never heard otherwise.

I can't disagree.

I also walked out on my balcony at Regency Towers in Panama City Beach in June 2013 and saw a splattered female body below. She jumped from the 13th floor moments before I walked out. Watched the whole coroner's ordeal from my balcony over the next hour.

I’ve probably repressed forgotten something crazier but a few years ago at like 10 am on a Saturday/Sunday I saw a tweaked out (I assmue) hooker in like 8” heels hobbling and stumbling around the middle of Napoleon avenue at st Charles. This is obviously a nice block right by superior seafood.

I know in New Orleans, trouble is rarely more than a block away. But I had or still haven’t seen something like that before. I have no idea how she ended up there. I stopped dead in the middle of Napoleon as she stumbled eventually out of the way to the sidewalk.

She looked almost exactly like Wendy from breaking bad.

Couple of friends and I were riding down wallace dean road in West Monroe and saw a scarecrow on a friend of mine's family property(he was in the truck).

Friend that owns the property basically said "we don't have any scarecrows" so we stopped.

We're sitting there looking at this creepy looking fricker debating on grabbing it when this son of a bitch gets up and comes toward the truck with a knife in his hand. I'm in the back seat and the other baws and I start yelling at my friend driving to GO NOW!

We get a 1/4 of a mile down the road and decide we're not going to be a bunch of bitches, circle around to find where he was and he's gone. We walked the field and didn't find anything. creepiest experience of my life.

Long story short, we were a bunch of bitches. I'd love to know who that was in the scarecrow costume.

ETA: this was around 2am
