I don't know what the actual name of it is, but it's basically squid jerky.
Got it from a customer of mine who owns a grocery store that caters mostly to Russians (shitloads of them in Sarasota, Fl).
It was one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten. Those Russians must have a thing for food that tastes rotten.

Was in Colorado this summer and ate a Yak meat burger. It was lean and not very tasty but might try again if I have the chance.

I ate some of those little baby squid at a Chinese restaurant the other day. They aren't bad but you get some interesting looks from those who are squeamish at your table.
