well they attend church the same way they attend games in Tiger Stadium. Hard habits to break.

What's the point of going to church, especially if it is 1 hr and 21 mins long?

If I can still hear the rock concert going on, I wait for that noise to stop out in the parking lot.

America truly is a melting pot. Went to Church today. The couple in the pew in front of me were Orientals. The guy sitting to my left looked like a newly arrived African. The Elderly Lady to my right appeared to have some disability. The couple and young son in the pew behind me were African American. At the appropriate time in the service we all exchanged a sign of peace in the form of a handshake.
We were there to worship (together) the God of Abraham. Even with all the bad publicity Christianity has been getting lately folks are still going to Church.
To my fellow worshippers. You made my day.

Good fricking God. Thank God for the United Methodist’s strict 59 minute service rule.

I'd say someone is keeping rather precise time. Glancing at our watch during that riveting homily are we?

Your church is an hour and 20 minutes just to the sermon???? No wonder people come late.
